/ About

Sir Frank's Bar is the cocktail bar at Beaverbrook Town House, the Beaverbrook estate's pair of restored Georgian houses at the Knightsbridge end of Sloane Street. It is named for Sir Frank Lowe, the adman who assembled the art and curios that fill the group's rooms, and the design follows his taste: an Art Deco room of glossy lacquered walls and stained glass in burnt umber and berry, with raspberry velvet banquettes, leather booths and tables set with a patchwork of Japanese matchbox covers, beneath a collection of 19th-century Japanese woodblock prints.

The bar is the social heart of the house, walk-in and convivial, open to residents, members and guests. Its cocktails are built around West End theatre, and the list runs to sake and Japanese whisky alongside the classics, a nod to the Japanese kitchen next door.

There is no published buyout package; a private reception or exclusive use is arranged through the house's events team. The room's scale suits a drinks reception or a celebration with a DJ over a large party.
