Cordelia's Mayfair

Cordelia's is a live-fire steakhouse at 6 Clarges Street, in the room that was L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon. Bespoke charcoal grills stand in an open theatre kitchen, and the head chef, Jordi Sebastianelli, puts British beef at the centre, dry-aged in house, beside heritage breeds such as Galician beef and Finnish Sashi. The bar works mostly with tequila and agave.

The dining room pairs veined marble with an oxblood ceiling, walnut burl tables and antique mirrors, and it is set up to carry a long lunch into a late evening. Resident DJs play in the evenings.

The whole restaurant can be taken for exclusive hire, for up to 80 seated or 100 standing, and tables of eight or more book group sharing menus.
