Chateau Denmark

Chateau Denmark opened in April 2022 across sixteen buildings on Denmark Street, the hundred-yard stretch where the Rolling Stones and Black Sabbath recorded their first albums and the Sex Pistols once lived. CAW Ventures built it with Outernet London: 55 Session Rooms in the Now Building, and apartments in Grade II listed townhouses, a mews house and mansion buildings along the street. Guests check in on Outernet Place, through the Now Arcade, and a team of butlers looks after every room.

The hotel hires out its most storied rooms. Kiss the Sky takes the top floors of No. 4 Denmark Street, above Regent Sounds, where Hendrix, The Who and the Stones all recorded, with views along the street and across the London skyline. I Am Anarchy is the mews house behind No. 6 where the Sex Pistols lived, rehearsed and cut demos of 'Anarchy in the UK', with the caricatures Johnny Rotten drew on its walls. The Two Bedroom Deluxe and the vintage gothic Flitcroft apartments, which overlook St Giles-in-the-Fields, are offered for junkets and small gatherings.

For meetings the house uses The Meeting Room at St Giles Church, a neighbour and long-standing partner. It has original floorboards, daylight over the churchyard gardens and its own entrance, and takes 17 around a boardroom table or 30 for a reception, with a dedicated event manager and butler service. The spaces are pitched at meetings, events and press junkets.
