Bocconcino Soho

Bocconcino Soho is the second London site of the Italian restaurant that made its name on Berkeley Street in Mayfair, opened on Great Marlborough Street in September 2023 at the top of Soho, a short walk from Oxford Circus and Carnaby Street. The two-level room carries the brand's Forte dei Marmi roots into a contemporary register: warm earthy tones, marble and brass, a terrazzo floor and cascading light fittings, with the bar at the front and the dining room running back and down into the building. The kitchen runs the same regional Italian cooking as Mayfair, with hand-rolled pasta, Roman-style pizzas from the open oven and Sicilian and Neapolitan seafood, alongside a wine list built around Barolo, Barbaresco, Brunello and Super Tuscans.

What sets the Soho site apart is its pace after dark. Lunch and early dinner run unhurried, but on Friday and Saturday nights, and through Saturday brunch, resident DJs play the ground floor and the room takes on the energy of the streets around it. That makes it a natural fit for a DJ-led private evening rather than a quiet dinner.

Two spaces are available for hire. The whole restaurant can be taken exclusively for up to 85 seated or 100 standing, front bar included, with semi-private areas within it for smaller groups. Below sits the Private Dining Room, a self-contained space on the lower ground floor with its own private bar and a DJ deck, hired in full for up to 25 seated or 30 standing. Group menus, corporate use and standing receptions are handled by the events team on enquiry.
