/ About
Bocconcino sits on a quiet stretch of Berkeley Street, a regional Italian restaurant spread across two floors of a Mayfair townhouse. Head Chef Marco Corsica draws on the cooking of Tuscany, Rome, Sicily and Naples, built around fresh seafood, grilled meats and pizzas from the open fire. The kitchen is matched by a 300-plus bottle, Italian-led cellar and a head sommelier who works the room. The restaurant was named Best Luxury Restaurant at the 2023 British Restaurant Awards.
The venue reads as two distinct spaces. The ground floor is the more formal of the two: polished marble, a chequerboard floor, warm wood and a fine-dining setting that takes up to eighty guests on full hire. The lower ground floor is where the live music programme runs through the evening, a livelier room of red-panelled walls, columns and intimate curved booths, with a dedicated private dining room that seats up to forty. The two floors can be booked separately, combined, or taken as an exclusive hire of the whole restaurant.
For private events, configurations run from an eight-guest dinner in a semi-private corner up to a forty-cover enclosed room downstairs and eighty across the ground floor. The events team arranges tailored menus from the regional a la carte, sommelier-led wine flights, canape receptions and audio-visual for speeches or presentations. Milestone birthdays, corporate dinners, wedding-related dinners and family celebrations all sit naturally here, and the lower floor runs live music most evenings.
