/ About
Bar des Prés is the French chef Cyril Lignac's first restaurant outside France, an evolution of his Saint-Germain original that pairs French technique with Japanese ingredients and precision. Opened on Albemarle Street in 2022, it moved across Mayfair in May 2026 to a light corner site on South Audley Street, with interiors by Lázaro Rosa-Violán: burgundy lacquered walls, a curved marble counter, and textiles embroidered with the house peacock motif. The menu runs from the crunchy crab and avocado galette to black cod caramelised with miso, alongside a French-led wine list and a serious cocktail programme.
For private occasions, The Salon sits hidden behind the dining room: an intimate, art-hung space seating up to 28 guests across three tables, with group dining menus and canapés from Lignac's kitchen. The whole restaurant can also be taken exclusively, seating 65, or 45 with a drinks reception, and hosting 90 for a standing reception, the counter serving as a natural bar for the evening.
