/ About

Bar Finch opened in the spring of 2026 at 31 Cork Street, in the middle of Mayfair's gallery quarter. It belongs to Charles Finch, the film producer and restaurateur behind Chucs, who calls it "a classic Roman or Venetian bar, with a touch of my own transatlantic experiences", with club classics on the menu and a proper bar.

The room is lined in honeycomb oak and hung with art, including prints by Picasso. A tartan carpet runs underfoot, green chairs pick up its darker tones, and a light wooden bar sits at the centre of the room. Banquettes run along the Cork Street windows, and a panelled staircase leads down to a wine room of glass-fronted cabinets.

Tom Trubshaw, head chef at Andrew Edmunds in Soho for nearly a decade, cooks a short menu of club classics. The cocktail list keeps to four house signatures and a run of forgotten classics. A pianist plays jazz standards through service, and the house asks that calls are taken outside and laptops stay closed. Larger parties and private hire are arranged with the reservations team direct.
