64 Goodge Street

On a Fitzrovia corner that was once a travel agent, 64 Goodge Street opened in August 2023 as the third restaurant from the Woodhead Restaurant Group, alongside its siblings Portland and Clipstone. Under head chef Stuart Andrew the kitchen cooks classical French bistro food, and held its first MICHELIN star within two years of opening. The room seats 44 across roughly 2,000 square feet, small enough that the semi-open kitchen sets the tempo of the evening.

Studio Found dressed the ground floor in deep green timber panelling, a green leather banquette and light oak floors, with a bar of brass, walnut and marble linking the dining room to the pass. Candlelit tables and wicker chairs keep the mood intimate rather than formal. Downstairs, a private dining room panelled in burgundy seats up to twelve, with its own front-of-house and the full a la carte menu; the whole restaurant can be taken exclusively for a larger gathering.

For a LIT.ME event this is an intimate-scale booking rather than a dancefloor room: a starred dinner for a private party, with the basement room for a seated dozen or a full-restaurant buyout for up to forty-four. The address is prime W1, a short walk from Charlotte Street.
