/ About

190 Queen's Gate is the restaurant of The Gore London, the hotel on Queen's Gate a short walk from the Royal Albert Hall. It sits across from Bar 190, the hotel's bar, in a room of dark green walls hung with artworks and gilded mirrors.

The cooking pairs the English tradition with contemporary flavours and follows the seasons, using British produce from the surrounding counties. Head Chef Frederick Forster leads the kitchen. He is a former National Chef of the Year and a Roux Scholar who trained under Pierre Gagnaire, and he was named Master of Culinary Arts in 2013. The wine list leans on English producers, and the restaurant partners with Wine GB and Highweald, a wine estate in West Sussex.

The hotel's events team lets the whole restaurant for private dinners and celebrations, with room for up to 40 guests in a range of seating layouts. The Gore's other event rooms, among them the Library, the Mulberry Room and the Tapestry Room, are in the same building.
