The Devil Wears Prada 2: European Premiere

Wednesday, 22 April 2026 Leicester Square · West End

Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci returned to their roles of 2006 for the European premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 in Leicester Square.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 held its European premiere, the last stop of its world tour, in Leicester Square in the West End on Wednesday 22 April 2026. Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci returned in their roles from 2006.

Streep trained at Vassar and the Yale School of Drama. She holds three Academy Awards, the third for The Iron Lady in 2011.

Hathaway made her name in The Princess Diaries in 2001. The Devil Wears Prada, in which she played Andy Sachs, assistant to Streep’s Miranda Priestly, was her largest success to that point. She won the Academy Award for Les Misérables.

David Frankel directs again from a script by Aline Brosh McKenna, who wrote the first film. Twenty years on, Andy helps Miranda through a changed media business and corporate threats to Runway magazine.

Lucy Liu and Justin Theroux join the cast, and Tracie Thoms and Tibor Feldman return as Lily and Irv.

Kenneth Branagh, also new to the cast, walked the carpet with Simone Ashley, Caleb Hearon, Frankel and the producer Wendy Finerman, with Donatella Versace among the guests. The film opened nine days later, on 1 May.
