Nuremberg UK Premiere

Thursday, 6 November 2025 Odeon Luxe Leicester Square · West End

Rami Malek led the cast of Nuremberg, a drama about the American psychiatrist sent to examine Hermann Göring before the war-crimes trials, at its UK premiere in Leicester Square.

Rami Malek, the Academy Award winner for Bohemian Rhapsody, led the cast of Nuremberg at its UK premiere at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on Thursday 6 November 2025. Michael Shannon, Richard E. Grant and Leo Woodall joined him.

Malek was born in Torrance, California, in 1981 to Egyptian immigrant parents. He studied theatre and worked on stage in New York, then spent years in supporting parts, among them The Pacific and the Night at the Museum films.

Elliot Alderson, the hacker of Mr. Robot, won him an Emmy. Playing Freddie Mercury brought the Best Actor award in 2019, the first in that category for an actor of Egyptian heritage.

James Vanderbilt wrote, produced and directed Nuremberg from Jack El-Hai’s book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist. Malek plays Douglas Kelley, the United States Army psychiatrist sent to judge whether the surviving Nazi leadership is fit to stand trial.

Russell Crowe plays Hermann Göring, the prisoner with whom Kelley is drawn into a long duel of wits.

Vanderbilt joined his cast on the carpet, and Sky released the film in British cinemas on 14 November.
