My Fault: London: UK Premiere

Wednesday, 5 February 2025 Cineworld Leicester Square · West End

Asha Banks and Matthew Broome brought My Fault: London, the British remake of the Spanish romance Culpa Mía, to its UK premiere in Leicester Square.

My Fault: London, the British adaptation of Mercedes Ron’s Culpables novels, held its UK premiere at Cineworld Leicester Square in the West End on Wednesday 5 February 2025. Asha Banks and Matthew Broome led the cast.

Banks was born in St Albans and made her West End debut as the young Éponine in Les Misérables. Stage roles at Drury Lane and the Almeida followed, and she plays Cara Ward in A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.

Broome grew up in Northampton and trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He played Antipholus of Ephesus at Shakespeare’s Globe before his screen debut as Guy Thwarte in The Buccaneers.

The film remakes Culpa Mía, the 2023 Spanish adaptation. Noah, 18, moves from America to London when her mother falls for the wealthy William. There she meets his son Nick, whose street racing and temper pull her into his world.

The evening opened with a question-and-answer session with the directors, Dani Girdwood and Charlotte Fassler, and the cast. The film reached Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories on 13 February.

Ray Fearon, Eve Macklin, Jason Flemyng and Ron herself also attended.
