London Invitational 2026

15 – 18 October 2026 The Chancery Rosewood · Mayfair

A boutique fair born in Dallas brings twelve invited galleries to The Chancery Rosewood for its first London edition, in the week of Frieze.

Twelve invited galleries take rooms at The Chancery Rosewood in Mayfair from Thursday 15 to Sunday 18 October 2026. It is the first London edition of a boutique fair founded in Dallas, held in the week of Frieze.

James Cope, a British-born dealer based in Dallas, founded Dallas Invitational in 2023 alongside the Dallas Art Fair. He built it from conversations with galleries, collectors and curators who wanted a slower setting than a fair hall allows.

The art consultant Jessica Nowitzki co-directs the London edition. Participation is by invitation only, and an advisory council of dealers and advisers guides the fair, among them Patrick Collins and the two London dealers exhibiting.

Galleries install in the hotel’s guest suites and stay on site. The model cuts shipping and handling costs.

The Chancery Rosewood occupies the former United States Embassy on Grosvenor Square. This year’s exhibitors come from Los Angeles, New York, Dallas and Miami, as well as two London houses.

One is Charles Asprey. The other, Alex Vardaxoglou’s gallery Vardaxoglou, also showing at Frieze London, brings twentieth-century British painting by Robyn Denny, Prunella Clough, Howard Hodgkin, Patrick Heron and Roger Hilton.
