The London International Horse Show closed 2025 at ExCeL with Max Kühner winning its World Cup jumping leg, the first Austrian to do so since 1989.
The London International Horse Show held three FEI World Cup qualifiers at ExCeL London in the Royal Docks from Thursday 18 to Monday 22 December 2025.
The first International Horse Show opened at Olympia in June 1907. It was the idea of Reginald Gardiner Heaton, a Cambridgeshire horse breeder, and Lord Lonsdale was its first president. It ran there until 1939 and was revived at White City after the war.
In December 1972 Heaton and Raymond Brooks-Ward brought a horse show back to Olympia, and Simon Brooks-Ward took over its direction in 1992. The World Cup qualifier for jumping has run every year since 1979, joined by dressage in 2004 and driving in 2013.
The HPower Group now manages the show, which fills two full-size arenas with five-star jumping, showing classes and dog agility.
Charlotte Fry and Glamourdale won the dressage Grand Prix on 80.783%. On the Sunday, Max Kühner and the Irish-bred EIC Cooley Jump The Q won the World Cup Grand Prix, the fastest of three double clears in 33.94 seconds.
Kühner became only the second Austrian to win the London leg, and the first since 1989.
