Jordan Firstman's Club Kid, a comedy about a New York party promoter who discovers he has a son, with Cara Delevingne in the cast, screens as a Gala at the Royal Festival Hall.
Jordan Firstman’s Club Kid, which opened at Cannes in May, takes the late Gala at the Royal Festival Hall on the South Bank on Saturday 17 October 2026. Cara Delevingne is in the cast.
Firstman was known first for his online sketches and wrote for television. Club Kid is his first feature as director, and he wrote it and plays its lead.
Peter is a party promoter in New York, worn down by a decade of drinking, drugs and clubs. A ten-year-old son he never knew he had, played by the newcomer Reggie Absolom, asks him to grow up.
The screening falls on the final weekend of the seventieth London Film Festival. A24 acquired the film at Cannes and distributes it.
Delevingne was born in London in 1992 and modelled for Burberry and Chanel before she turned to acting. In 2024 she made her West End debut as Sally Bowles in Cabaret at the Playhouse Theatre.
She plays Sophie, Peter’s business partner, and Diego Calva and Kirby Howell-Baptiste complete the cast.
