The 82nd Members' Meeting ran for the Goodwood Road Racing Club in April 2025, and a Ferrari 206S won the Gurney Cup after starting from the back.
The 82nd Members’ Meeting ran across the Goodwood Motor Circuit near Chichester on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 April 2025, the club’s spring race weekend.
The original meetings began in 1948, when the 9th Duke of Richmond opened the circuit and held the first of them for members of the British Automobile Racing Club. There were 71 in all, the last on 2 July 1966, after which racing at Goodwood ceased. The Goodwood Road Racing Club revived the meeting in 2014 in response to demand from its Members, and it remains hosted by and exclusively for them.
Fourteen races filled the weekend. David Franklin and Frank Stippler won the Gurney Cup in a Ferrari 206S, Stippler starting from the very back after a red flag and passing the Ford GT40s of Rob Huff and Andre Lotterer. The Gordon Spice Trophy ran in a new format, with the smaller-engined cars split into the new Win Percy Trophy, and Romain Dumas and Fred Shepherd took it in a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. Sam Wilson won the Arundell Cup for Formula Juniors in a Cooper-Ford T59, John Spiers won the Moss Trophy in a Shelby Cobra 260, Gareth Burnett’s 1939 Alta won the pre-war Earl Howe Trophy, and Dan Jackson won the Hailwood Trophy for motorcycles on a Harris-Yamaha TZ350, holding off Michael Russell by 0.399 seconds on the Sunday.
