Goodwood Festival of Speed 2026

9 – 12 July 2026 Goodwood House · Chichester, West Sussex

The 2026 Festival of Speed took rivalry as its theme, and Romain Dumas won a third Timed Shoot-Out in a row in the Ford Super Mustang Mach-E.

The Goodwood Festival of Speed, a hillclimb for historic and current cars and motorcycles, ran at Goodwood House in Chichester, West Sussex, from Thursday 9 to Sunday 12 July 2026. Its theme was The Rivals, Epic Racing Duels.

The sculpture in front of the House changes each year with the marque it honours. In 2026 it was Singer, the maker of reimagined Porsche 911s, in a design by Gery Judah.

The Duke of Richmond opened the event on the Thursday morning in a 1991 DLS Turbo Reimagined by Singer. The Cartier Style et Luxe concours d’elegance named a 1955 Lancia Aurelia Spider Best in Show. Its judges included Stanley Tucci and David Jonsson.

The Ford GT Mk IIs that won Le Mans in 1966 reunited 60 years after their victory over Ferrari and recreated their formation run on the Hill.

Lando Norris and Valentino Rossi shared a balcony moment on the Friday. On the Sunday, Damon Hill drove his title-winning Williams FW18, 30 years after the 1996 championship.

Romain Dumas won a third Timed Shoot-Out in a row. He took the Ford Super Mustang Mach-E up the Hill in 41.97 seconds.
