England came from 12-0 down to beat New Zealand 33-19 at Twickenham in November 2025, their first win over the All Blacks at the ground since 2012.
New Zealand played England at Allianz Stadium in Twickenham on Saturday 15 November 2025, in the third of England’s four home Tests in the Quilter Nations Series.
The All Blacks are part of the ground’s origins. Sold-out Tests against New Zealand and South Africa at Crystal Palace showed the Rugby Football Union what a stadium of its own could earn. In 1907 the union bought the Twickenham site.
The ground opened in October 1909. It is now the union’s headquarters and England’s home, and the second-largest stadium in Britain.
England came in unbeaten in nine, but had not beaten New Zealand at Twickenham since 2012. Leicester Fainga’anuku and Codie Taylor scored inside the first half-hour for a 12-0 lead to the visitors.
Ollie Lawrence replied with a try, and George Ford kicked two drop goals to leave England 11-12 behind at the interval. Sam Underhill’s try after the break gave England the lead, and Fraser Dingwall added another.
Will Jordan’s try brought New Zealand back to 25-19, but Ford kicked a late penalty and Tom Roebuck scored in the corner. England won 33-19 before 81,953, and Ford was player of the match.
