/ About
Wild by Tart occupies a converted Victorian power station and coal store at Eccleston Yards, a private courtyard development tucked behind Victoria station. The 9,000 sq ft space runs under an original arched glazed roof, its exposed brick walls and industrial ductwork softened by trailing foliage, potted olive trees, and an open kitchen fired by wood and charcoal. The whole floor reads as one continuous room — bar, lounge, and restaurant — rather than the segmented plan common to event venues, which makes it feel genuinely alive even before a single guest arrives.
Founded by Jemima Jones and Lucy Carr-Ellison, the venue pairs a Michelin-recognised kitchen with a serious private events operation. The in-house catering draws on seasonal British produce; the cocktail programme uses house-made cordials and ferments. Four distinct spaces are available for private use: the main restaurant floor, the all-day lounge bar, an intimate raised Mezzanine, and a detached light-filled Studio with its own private entrance. The Studio sits at 1,450 sq ft with a glass-panelled ceiling and polished concrete floors, and scales from a press breakfast for twelve to a standing reception for a hundred.
For events requiring a full venue takeover, all four spaces — restaurant, bar, mezzanine, and studio — can be hired together, giving a single-event footprint that holds 180 seated or 300 standing, with room for a dancefloor. The building carries a full sound system throughout and production suppliers on call for bespoke AV and lighting builds.
/ Rooms Available
The Restaurant
Exclusive HireThe main dining floor under the original arched Victorian roof, with an open kitchen fired by wood-burning oven and charcoal grills as its centrepiece. Counter seating faces the kitchen pass; round and rectangular tables fill the room beyond, surrounded by trailing foliage and textile art on exposed stone walls. Available for exclusive hire as part of a full venue takeover.
The Studio
Exclusive HireA 1,450 sq ft detached event space with a high glass-panelled ceiling and polished concrete floors. Benefits from excellent natural light by day and electronic blackout blinds for evening events. Has its own private entrance, cloakroom, and bar area, with crittall-style sliding doors separating it from the main restaurant when needed. The space handles breakfasts, seated dinners, receptions, press days, screenings, and fashion shows with equal ease.
The Bar
Exclusive HireThe all-day lounge bar that greets guests on arrival — a relaxed, plant-filled space with bar stools at a long counter, low lounge seating, and foliage overhead. Serves signature cocktails built on house-made ingredients alongside a curated wine list. Part of the full venue exclusive hire; functions as a natural reception or pre-dinner space.
The Mezzanine
PrivateA raised private dining room that overlooks the main restaurant and bar below. Designed in collaboration with Farrow & Ball, OKA, CINNY, and Pelican House: striped Tented Stripe wallpaper, a long oval oak table, red bobble candlestick holders, and a commissioned woven artwork titled Wild Things. The room seats up to 16 and has a notably theatrical feel — looking down over the open kitchen and the full arc of the glazed roof.
