The Wigmore

Set in a former banking hall at 15 Langham Place, The Wigmore is attached to The Langham but operates as its own entity — a modern British pub with a design that stops people mid-sentence. Martin Brudnizki's interiors layer bottle-green lacquered plaster, original domed ceilings, marble-topped tables and an ikat-upholstered bar into something that reads simultaneously as heritage and now. The main room runs to 114 square metres beneath a ceiling height of 5.8 metres, with cask ales alongside a food menu overseen by Michel Roux.

For private events, the venue offers three bookable spaces off the main floor alongside the ability to take the whole room. The Green Room — 39 square metres with its own bar — sits directly behind the main bar and has a separate music system and built-in screen. The Snug is more intimate still: 22 square metres of mohair sofas, silk cushions, patterned wallpaper and equestrian prints, with natural daylight and its own sound system. The Hatch is an outdoor terrace for standing receptions in warmer months.

Externally managed DJs are welcome in the private spaces. The venue holds a full music licence and live entertainment (including bands) is permitted. Oxford Circus tube is a four-minute walk.
