/ About
The Manor House sits at the end of a long drive on the edge of Castle Combe, a honey-stone manor with 14th-century origins set in 365 acres of parkland, Italian gardens and a championship golf course. Exclusive Collection runs it as a 50-bedroom country house hotel, with more rooms in the village at its own pub, The Castle Inn, and Bybrook, its restaurant, holds a MICHELIN star under head chef Rob Potter.
For a private occasion the house works at two scales. Saxam and Gorges are panelled oak-table rooms with stained glass, made for a dinner of a dozen, while Bingham and the Brook each seat about forty, Bingham beneath wrought-iron chandeliers and leaded windows, the Brook under a vaulted ceiling and tall stained-glass windows. Dunstanville is the party room: a vaulted, beamed suite up a stone staircase at the secluded rear of the hotel, with two terraces over the wooded valley, which the house itself sells for dance-the-night-away celebrations.
Taken whole, the estate holds up to 150 guests inside the house, with Bybrook available as a dining room for the full party only on exclusive use. Every bedroom, lounge and garden comes with it, and the Bybrook kitchen cooks for the event.
