/ About
Set back from the bustle of the King's Road behind its famous flower-clad facade, The Ivy Chelsea Garden is the Chelsea outpost of the Ivy Collection and one of the neighbourhood's most romantic addresses. The interiors are by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio: black-and-white marble mosaic floors, antique mirrors, bronzed lanterns and a colourful bar lounge hung with art and lined with deep banquettes. Beyond the main room, a verdant orangery of potted plants and hanging urns draws the outside in, glowing by candlelight.
The heart of the venue is its garden. Created by Ginko Gardens, the planting wraps trailing wisteria and climbing roses around pergolas, with stone fountains, leafy trellises and a fire pit at its centre, all tucked away from the street. For private events the Glasshouse sits within the garden, a glass-walled room canopied in greenery that seats a long table of guests or opens up for a standing reception. The kitchen serves British classics through the day and late into the evening, which makes the space a natural fit for an intimate, garden-led celebration with a DJ.
