The Ivy Asia Mayfair

The Ivy Asia arrived on North Audley Street in 2022 as the most theatrical of the Ivy Collection's pan-Asian outposts, and the room still stops people at the door. A floor of luminous green agate, lit from beneath, glows like jade beneath hand-painted ceilings, towering antique vases and a dozen cherry blossom trees in permanent bloom. A gold cocktail bar anchors the entrance, its peacock-green stools and overhead canopy of pink blossom setting the tone before guests have crossed the threshold.

The cooking is contemporary pan-Asian, drawing on Japanese, Cantonese and wider Southeast Asian traditions, served until late seven nights a week. Beyond the main floor sits the Sakura Room, a self-contained private dining space framed by carved gilt doors, with a red lacquered shrine, ceramic cranes and its own canopy of cherry blossom. It seats up to 24 across a long table and opens up to 40 for standing receptions, with a dedicated events manager coordinating music, florals and table design.

With a late licence, a dramatic enclosed private room and a kitchen and bar already built for spectacle, the Mayfair Ivy Asia suits intimate celebrations and receptions that want a backdrop doing half the work. The Sakura Room in particular lends itself to an evening that moves from dinner into a relaxed reception with a resident DJ setup.
