/ About
The Hand & Flowers is Tom Kerridge's pub on West Street in Marlow, opened in 2005 with his wife Beth Cullen-Kerridge. It won its first Michelin star within a year and a second in 2012, which made it the first pub to hold two. The 2026 MICHELIN Guide keeps both stars and praises classic pub dishes cooked with rare precision and bold, natural flavours, a banana soufflé among them.
The building is Grade II listed. The dining room sits under dark beams, with exposed brick, leather banquettes and wooden tables, and the bar has a vaulted beamed ceiling, glass chandeliers and a log burner. Fifteen bedrooms in four cottages nearby turn dinner into an overnight stay.
Private dining takes place in The Shed, a separate room a short walk along West Street, opposite The Coach. It seats up to ten at a counter where a chef finishes each course in front of the party, and the menu can come from The Hand & Flowers, The Coach or The Butcher's Tap & Grill. In the pub itself the largest table seats eight and each party takes a single table. The house publishes no exclusive hire of the restaurant, so a buyout is a matter for direct enquiry.
