The Clove Club

The Clove Club occupies the grand, wood-panelled rooms of the Grade II-listed Shoreditch Town Hall, where chef-patron Isaac McHale sends a seasonal tasting menu out of an open kitchen set into the dining room. The cooking is modern and British to its core, built on the best produce of the British Isles and pared back to its essentials. Since opening it has become one of the hardest tables to book in London, and it currently holds two Michelin stars.

The room carries real occasion without the stiffness that often comes with it: high ceilings, generous spacing and the theatre of the kitchen give it warmth as well as polish. Recognition has followed steadily, among it the highest new entry to the World's 50 Best Restaurants list in 2016 and a run of London restaurant-of-the-year honours. At the front, a separate Bar and Lounge pours an ambitious wine list alongside a changing menu of small plates.

For private events the restaurant offers full hire of its spaces, with the events team building bespoke menus around the kitchen's seasonal cooking.
