The Cadogan Arms

The Cadogan Arms occupies a corner site on King's Road, its fabric dating to the 17th century as the Rose and Crown before it was rebuilt and renamed in 1838. The current incarnation opened in July 2021, backed by Dominic Jacobs and JKS Restaurants' founders with James Knappett of Kitchen Table overseeing the kitchen, and restored a mosaic floor, a wrought-iron staircase and the stained-glass back bar that anchors the ground-floor room. Jacobs' pub division has since become Ardent Pub Group, which now runs the venue independently of JKS.

Downstairs, The Rose Room takes its name from the building's original incarnation: a private events space with its own horseshoe bar, backed by a custom stained-glass wall, and glass-fronted cabinets ageing British beef within view of the room. The ground floor holds a dining room and a window-lit banquette for smaller parties, and the whole pub - bar, dining room and Rose Room together - is available for exclusive hire.

A regular on London's gastropub round-ups since its relaunch, The Cadogan Arms works as easily for a seated private dinner in the Rose Room as for a full buyout of the building.
