No. Fifty Cheyne sits on the bend of Cheyne Walk where Old Chelsea meets the Thames, a former corner pub reborn as a flower-festooned restaurant that the neighbourhood treats as its own. The facade is wrapped year-round in cascading blooms and warm light, and inside the mood is unmistakably Chelsea: brown leather banquettes, blue-and-white table glass, a central bar crowned with a floral installation and modern British cooking built around the open grill. Across two floors it carries that same feel without trying too hard.

For private events the house opens up room by room. The Vineyard is the intimate ground-floor space, draped in seasonal flower installations and laid for a single long table. Upstairs, the redesigned Drawing Room looks straight out over the river and Albert Bridge in emerald velvet and a gilded ceiling, with the jewel-red Ruby Bar alongside for a champagne welcome. Take the whole house and the Main Dining Room & Bar comes into play too, the floor where live music, a DJ and dancing are actively encouraged.
