/ About
Sollip sits on a quiet side street between London Bridge and Bermondsey, its pared-back frontage giving little away. Inside, the room turns unmistakably Korean: pale wood tables and chairs, handmade crockery, dried-flower arrangements and floor-to-ceiling curtains that soften the daylight. The husband-and-wife team of chef Woongchul Park and pastry chef and sommelier Bomee Ki opened it in 2020, and in 2021 it became the first Korean-owned restaurant in the UK to win a Michelin star, which it still holds in the 2026 guide.
The cooking is a tasting menu that runs British produce through French technique and Korean flavour. Around thirty covers fill the single calm dining room, which makes Sollip one of the more intimate fine-dining rooms in the city and a natural fit for a private occasion taken over in full. Bomee Ki's wine list leans toward small growers, and the pairings are a large part of the evening.
For private events the restaurant is available for exclusive use, seating a small party across the whole room. It suits a milestone dinner, a considered client gathering or a celebration where the food and the setting carry the night rather than volume or spectacle.
