/ About

Soho House 76 Dean Street occupies a Georgian townhouse built in 1732, a few doors from the club's original Greek Street address. The building was gutted by fire in 2009 and rebuilt over two years, its entrance-hall murals and staircase restored rather than replaced. The House opened in 2015 across four floors and a basement. Inside, the rooms read domestic rather than commercial: panelling in ochre and deep green, open fires, worn rugs, pictures hung salon-style.

Two spaces take public bookings. The screening room, in the basement, holds 43 velvet armchairs, each with a brass lamp and its own side table, and is hired for private screenings and presentations. The bar and lobby on the same lower-ground floor takes 50 standing, and can be hired on its own, independently of the screening room, for drinks receptions.

The rest of the house is member-only. The Yellow Room, the Small Sitting Room, the whole ground floor and the Top Floor and Library Bar are all bookable spaces, but only a Soho House member can hold the booking, so an event on those floors needs a member to sponsor it. Enquire and we will confirm which floors are open to you.
