/ About
Rüya takes its name from the Anatolian word for dream, and sits behind its own doors on Upper Grosvenor Street, a few steps from Park Lane. It is the London room from the D.ream group that also created Zuma and Coya, and it trades in contemporary Anatolian cooking built around the sharing plates of a Turkish family table.
Conran and Partners designed the 560-square-metre space as a single long room that opens at the bar and runs past an open kitchen and a feature bread oven to the dining room beyond. Brass sunburst chandeliers hang over turquoise tables, geometric tiling and rows of copper stills line the walls, and tall Georgian windows look onto the street. Executive chef Colin Clague leads the kitchen.
For private events the restaurant offers the Özel Room for seated dinners, a chef's table set against the open kitchen, and the Mekan lounge bar, which runs a cocktail programme and a DJ booth into the evening. The whole venue is available for exclusive hire, with a late licence that carries a party well past midnight.
