/ About
Restaurant Gordon Ramsay has held its corner of Royal Hospital Road in Chelsea since the late 1990s, and it remains the chef's flagship and one of the longest-standing three-MICHELIN-star dining rooms in the country. The room is deliberately small: a calm, light space of around forty covers dressed in soft lilac and grey, with a sculptural ceiling light and full-length windows onto the street. Kim Ratcharoen leads the kitchen, cooking a modern French menu built on classical technique.
For a private occasion the whole restaurant is available on exclusive hire, seating up to 44 guests or receiving up to 70 for a standing reception. It suits a landmark celebration, a wedding, or a seated dinner where the cooking is the reason people are in the room. A dedicated events team handles menus and planning.
At the heart of the restaurant sits the Inspiration Table, a four-seat chef's table set against a panel of the kitchen's signature gilded hearts. It is the closest a guest gets to the pass of a three-star kitchen, and the most intimate way to take the restaurant privately.
