/ About
Pétrus occupies a quietly confident corner of Kinnerton Street, a mews-like passage on the Knightsbridge-Belgravia border that feels entirely removed from the surrounding grid. The room is arranged around a freestanding cylindrical glass wine tower — two storeys of bottles at its centre — with banquette-style lounge seating curving around it and white-linen tables fanning outward toward floor-length windows overlooking the street. Russell Sage Studio's interior runs in pale stone, cream leather and soft metallics: restrained enough to recede, considered enough to hold its own. The restaurant has held one Michelin star continuously since 2011 and was retained in the 2026 guide.
For private events, Pétrus offers three distinct formats. Exclusive hire of the full restaurant seats 64 and stands 80, giving a principal the run of the entire space including the wine tower as backdrop. The Grande Table, a dedicated room seating ten to twelve, is suited to dinners where the group warrants full privacy but not a whole-venue takeover. The Kitchen Table places up to eight guests inside the working kitchen on a semi-circular banquette seat at the pass, with the brigade visible throughout service — an unusual format for a DJ-adjacent event context, but compelling for a pre-performance or intimate collector dinner.
The catering offering centres on classic French technique applied to luxury produce — lobster, turbot, native game — with a wine list that carries over thirty vintages of Château Pétrus and holds a World of Fine Wine three-star accreditation. The events team handles bespoke menus for all private formats. The address is available for private hire by enquiry.
