Cornus opened in August 2024 on a light-filled rooftop in Eccleston Yards, the second restaurant from David O'Connor and Joe Mercer Nairne of Medlar in Chelsea. It took a Michelin star in the 2025 guide, with Gary Foulkes, formerly of Angler, running a kitchen built around British and European seasonal produce.
The room reads as quietly considered: walnut joinery, sand-toned floors, mustard banquettes and a long marble counter where a cocktail list runs alongside one of the more serious wine cellars in the area. Sheer curtains soften the daylight, and a sheltered terrace extends the space into the courtyard below.
For private events, a self-contained Private Room with honey-toned walls and floor-to-ceiling windows seats up to 25 around a single table, with bespoke menus from the kitchen. The whole rooftop can be taken exclusively for up to 75 guests, turning a discreet Belgravia address a few minutes from Victoria into a private setting for the evening.
