/ About
Noura has held its corner of Curzon Street for two decades, a Lebanese kitchen a few doors from Green Park serving the mezze and charcoal grills the name has been known for since 1970. The dining room is warm and low-lit, its walls hung with framed mirrors, and shisha is offered on the Curzon Street frontage indoors and out. It draws a mixed Mayfair crowd rather than a scene, and trades on hospitality and consistency over spectacle.
Two spaces take private events. The main restaurant floor seats around sixty and opens up to a reception of roughly a hundred. Below it is the Mayfair Lounge, a marble room with its own bar and a fibre-optic ceiling that shifts colour through the evening; since 2004 it has been the setting for the venue's live music and belly-dancing nights, and it works equally for a seated dinner or a standing party.
Both rooms hire exclusively, together or separately, with menus built around the Lebanese kitchen and its mezze, grills and vegan and gluten-free options. The lounge suits an intimate celebration or a private dinner; the restaurant floor takes the larger reception.
