Nolita Social

Nolita Social is the late-night cocktail lounge hidden beneath Sette, in the basement of the Bvlgari Hotel London building, reached by its own door on Knightsbridge Green. Named after the New York neighbourhood north of Little Italy, it trades the polish of the floors above for something darker and more intimate: a long backlit bar lined with stools, banquettes in dusty pink velvet, deep burgundy tub chairs, walnut shelving and low pools of lamplight. It reads as a downtown after-hours room transplanted to SW1.

Music is the point here rather than an afterthought. The programme runs live sessions and resident DJ sets through the week, curated by Stu Bevan of Sauce DJs, leaning into Sixties rock, Seventies soul and Nineties hip-hop for a crowd that arrives for early-evening cocktails and stays well past midnight. A typical night alternates short live sets with DJ slots from around half past eight into the small hours, so the room is built to carry a set rather than needing to be converted for one. Cocktails and Scarpetta-derived bites come up from the kitchen above.

The whole lounge takes 100 standing or 71 seated and is available for exclusive hire seven days a week, when it closes to the public, including daytime use for receptions, shoots and launch parties outside normal hours. A separate long-table private room within the space suits smaller gatherings. For music-led nights in Knightsbridge it is the most natural fit in the building, already wired for a DJ and tucked away below street level with its own entrance.
