Innholders' Hall

Innholders' Hall sits on College Street in the City, a short walk from the Bank of England and the Royal Exchange. It is the home of the Worshipful Company of Innholders, one of London's livery companies, which holds the 32nd position in livery precedence and has produced five Lord Mayors since the Innholders' first Royal Charter was granted by Henry VIII in 1514.

The Great Hall is the address's signature room: rich oak panelling dating to the 1666 rebuilding after the Great Fire of London, a coffered ceiling and an 18th-century minstrel's gallery once used by musicians performing to the room below. Two smaller court rooms sit on the first floor: the Old Court Room, its ceiling picked out in gold trim from 1670 and its cabinets holding the Company's collection of ceremonial silver spoons, and the New Court Room, where the Innholders still hold their monthly court meetings beneath a ceiling that survived bombing in the Blitz.

A panelled reception room links the two, used for pre-dinner drinks ahead of a booking in the Great Hall or the Old Court Room. Private dining, corporate dinners, wedding receptions and livery-style celebrations are catered in-house, from breakfast through to canapé receptions.
