/ About
Jeremy Chan and Iré Hassan-Odukale's two-Michelin-starred dining room, rebuilt from the ground up on its move to 180 Strand in December 2022. The tasting-menu-only kitchen sets British micro-seasonal produce against a wide-ranging store of spice, a language the pair have built since Ikoyi's first opening in St James's in 2017. Chan cooks; Hassan-Odukale runs the room. The partnership has carried Ikoyi to two Michelin stars and a regular place in the World's 50 Best.
The room, designed by Studio David Thulstrup, wraps oxidised copper panelling and stone floors under a curved steel-mesh ceiling, with ochre leather banquettes running the length of the space. An open kitchen sits at one end, in full view of the tables, its ageing cabinets visible from the corridor behind. A small outdoor terrace and a dedicated entrance on Surrey Street complete the footprint.
A leather-lined private dining room, closed off from the main room by heavy curtains, seats up to six around its own table for a more intimate service, with Chan and his kitchen team working directly with the table. Exclusive hire of the whole restaurant is also available for hosts who want the room to themselves.
