Ginger Lily Bar & Lounge

Ginger Lily occupies the ground floor of Pan Pacific London, the bronze tower on Bishopsgate Plaza two minutes from Liverpool Street. A long dark marble counter runs most of its length beneath an abstract landscape canvas, with timber panelling, heavy curtains and planting keeping the light low. It changes character through the day: a lounge from breakfast onward, home to the hotel's afternoon tea, then a cocktail bar from three o'clock.

Drinks are mixed in-house, contemporary and classic alongside the bar's own signature list, and there is an over-21 policy after the switch. Service runs to 1am Monday to Saturday. An outdoor terrace opens off the bar onto Stone House Court and can be hired on its own or alongside it.

For private events the bar takes 25 semi-privately and the lounge 40; taken exclusively together they hold 150. Menus are set to the occasion, the hotel's events team runs the booking, and a house PA is already installed, which covers most of what a drinks reception with music needs.
