/ About
Cubé sits on Blenheim Street, a quiet Mayfair turning off New Bond Street, and keeps its ambitions deliberately small. The ground floor is given to a pale-wood sushi counter, where the chefs run an omakase in front of a handful of seats with the open kitchen behind them. The room takes its cue from a single framed character on the wall, the idea of a place where the heart can rest, and the cooking follows suit: sushi, sashimi and tempura served in sequence, without ceremony.
Downstairs is where private events live. A wood-panelled dining space seats a small party at its own table, and a separate private room holds up to seven for an intimate dinner, a small celebration or a business gathering; the whole venue can also be taken exclusively. A back bar of Japanese whisky and sake anchors the lower floor, and menus are built to the size and preferences of the group. It is a room for a considered dinner rather than a crowd.
