Cirque le Soir

Cirque le Soir has run its circus-themed nights from 15-21 Ganton Street, a few steps off Carnaby in the centre of Soho, for more than sixteen years. The name has long been shorthand for a particular kind of West End night: a dark, lacquered room built around a central stage where fire performers, contortionists and costumed acts work the floor while a DJ holds the dancefloor through to the small hours. It is one of London's most theatrical clubs, and one of its most photographed.

The interior leans hard into the big-top conceit without tipping into kitsch. Deep red runs through everything, from the velvet booths and draped curtains to the perforated, back-lit ceiling that washes the room in colour. Tall illuminated CIRQUE pillars anchor the banquette seating, low hexagonal tables sit ready for bottle service, and a fairground-style bar trimmed in carousel bulbs and hand-painted panels lines one wall. Beyond the main room there is an in-house funfair with a free-play arcade, a rodeo bull and a ball pit, all part of the show rather than an afterthought.

For private events the whole venue is available for exclusive hire, holding up to 500 guests and licensed until 3:30am. It is a regular fixture for brand activations, product launches and corporate parties that want spectacle built in, with the resident DJ booth, the performers and the staging already in place. The same room also opens for table bookings across the mezzanine nooks, stage-side seating, balconies and the Ringleader's Lounge, each set close to the action.
