The London Reign

The London Reign bills itself as the capital's first showclub, and the label is literal: a central stage runs the night, with champagne shows, aerialists and a rotating cast of performers between the DJ sets. It sits on Piccadilly, at the St James's edge of the West End, behind a curved gold entrance lit by a marquee-bulb REIGN sign.

The room is modern art deco, worked in oxblood arches, midnight-blue banquettes and brushed gold, under ceilings unusually high for this part of town. The main floor holds up to 300, ringed by champagne booths with front-row sightlines to the stage and a resident DJ booth at its centre. A private mezzanine looks down over the floor from behind a fluted gold balustrade, seating a quieter group of up to 100.

For private hire the whole club takes up to 400 standing or 100 seated, with a club-grade sound system, moving-head lighting, lasers and a full production rig already installed. It opens Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11pm to 4am, and across the week for private bookings, with the in-house bar and kitchen teams building the food and drink around each event.
