/ About

Booking Office 1869 occupies the original ticket office of St Pancras station, completed in 1869 beneath George Gilbert Scott's Victorian Gothic hotel. In 2021 the Parisian architect Hugo Toro reworked the hall for owner Harry Handelsman, taking his cue from the patterns and colours of the hotel's Grand Staircase. The result is a Victorian-style winter garden: palms under Gothic arches, glowing parchment lamps, a long tiled bar and curved velvet booths set into the height of the old booking hall.

The room runs from breakfast to late. Cocktails draw on the drinks of the Victorian era, there is an oyster bar, and on Friday and Saturday nights DJ sets play from 9pm until 1am, with a jazz band on Sunday afternoons.

For private occasions the house offers curtained semi-private dining for up to 18, a high table for 14, drinks at the oyster bar, and group dining across the main restaurant. A standing reception for up to 35 takes the semi-private area, and the whole hall can be hired exclusively for larger dinners.
