/ About
BiBi is chef patron Chet Sharma's modern Indian restaurant on North Audley Street, opened in September 2021 as the fine-dining flagship of JKS Restaurants, the group behind Gymkhana and Trishna. The name honours his two grandmothers, Kamal and Ranjana, and the seasonally led menu draws on the full span of the subcontinent, much of it cooked over wood and charcoal on a custom-built sigree grill. It placed fifth in the National Restaurant Awards in 2022.
The room pairs mango wood and sandstone with antique brass, patterned upholstery and curved mirrors that echo the rhythm of Rajasthani architecture, with a checkerboard floor running from the 14-seat open-kitchen counter to a small run of booths and tables. Private events take the restaurant exclusively, seating up to 34 guests inside, with preset or bespoke menus and wine pairings arranged on request; a rattan-furnished terrace on North Audley Street seats a further 16 in warmer months.
