Opened in 2004 as part of the Italian Baglioni Collection, the hotel's 67 rooms and suites occupy a grade-listed building with an unmistakably Italian interior: Murano crystal chandeliers hang over polished marble floors, gold-leaf wall panels glow under layered spotlighting, and the palette throughout runs to ebony, champagne and burnished brass. The effect is one of deliberate, contained opulence, with the park framed in every street-facing window.

The hotel's ground-floor Brunello Bar and Restaurant, redesigned by the Milanese practice Spagnuolo & Partners, anchors the public spaces. The bar runs the length of the room on a gold-topped counter beneath a cluster of amber glass pendant lights; the restaurant opens into a dining floor tiled in a monochrome Moroccan pattern, set with round lacquered tables and mustard-upholstered chairs. A planted terrace (Terrazza di Brunello) extends the room towards Kensington Gardens in warmer months, with wrought-iron chairs and market umbrellas set among climbing greenery. The restaurant can be taken exclusively for private events.

The hotel's dedicated event floor sits below ground and contains two fully private spaces. Clubino, the most distinctive of the pair, is a soundproofed lounge that feels closer to an intimate supper club than a hotel function room: the walls are lined with hand-painted golden murals depicting scenes from Kensington Park, green velvet banquettes curve around low tables, and the room has its own separate street entrance, a private bar, and a dancefloor — the only space in this part of London that takes a DJ set, a bar and ninety guests for dinner without sharing a corridor. The adjacent Kensington Suite is a more formal private-hire room with its own entrance, natural daylight, and a reconfigurable layout suited to boardroom dinners or seated receptions of up to sixty.
