/ About

Tucked into pedestrianised Heddon Street just off Regent Street, Ambassadors Clubhouse opened in August 2024 under the JKS Restaurants group — the team behind Gymkhana — and received a Michelin star in 2026, becoming the first Punjabi restaurant in the UK to do so. The building is designed by North End Design and draws on the abandoned party mansions of Northern India and the Sethi family's grandfather's summer residence in Dalhousie: stencilled paintwork, vivid fabrics, marquetry details and original artwork from Punjabi artists run through two floors and a heated verandah on the street.

The lower ground floor is where the evening changes pitch. Known as AMBASSY, the space reconfigures for late-night private hire with a resident DJ booth, dance floor and immersive lighting — the venue holds a 2am licence and has hosted a roster of names from the global Punjabi music scene. Above ground, the main dining room centres on a gold-domed ceiling and a marquetry bar; three intimate private dining rooms (The Raja Rani Room, The Tamasha Room and The Jungli Room) seat between six and twelve guests in spaces fitted with bespoke tilework, mirrored ceilings and velvet drapery.

For DJ-led private events, AMBASSY is the draw: 80 standing with a proper sound system, a late licence until 3am, and enough room for a full production. The ground floor and lower ground floor can also be taken exclusively for larger gatherings of up to 180 standing.
