The Bronx brothers who made their name on the DC-10 terrace returned to fabric for a six-hour set, the long form their house music was built for.
The Martinez Brothers, the Bronx DJs at number 28 in the 2026 Top 100 DJ poll, played a six-hour set at fabric in Farringdon on Sunday 11 October 2026. Sarahrey opened the night.
Steven and Chris Martinez grew up in the Bronx, where their father put them in the church band as children and later bought them their first decks. Playing beside much older musicians, they absorbed disco, soul and salsa.
The New York producer Dennis Ferrer became their mentor and released their first record, My Rendition, on his Objektivity label in 2007. In 2011 a planned Ibiza residency fell through, and they took a slot at DC-10 instead. They have played its terrace every summer since.
They founded their own label, Cuttin’ Headz, and scored two seasons of Givenchy shows for Riccardo Tisci. Nile Rodgers asked them to add percussion to “I’ll Be There”, the lead single of his album It’s About Time.
The night continued a long relationship with the Charterhouse Street club, which released fabric presents The Martinez Brothers in its mix series in 2019.
