The Fashion Awards 2025

Monday, 1 December 2025 Royal Albert Hall · South Kensington

The British Fashion Council's annual ceremony filled the Royal Albert Hall in 2025, and Jonathan Anderson won Designer of the Year for the third consecutive year.

The British Fashion Council held The Fashion Awards at the Royal Albert Hall in South Kensington on Monday 1 December 2025. The actor Colman Domingo hosted.

The Council established the awards in 1989 to recognise the people and houses making the largest contribution to fashion. They were called the British Fashion Awards until 2016, when the ceremony widened to honour international designers, models and businesses alongside British ones.

The evening is also a fundraiser for the BFC Foundation, which supports young talent through scholarships.

Jonathan Anderson won Designer of the Year for the third consecutive year, for Dior, where he made his debut earlier in the year, and for JW Anderson. Sarah Burton won British Womenswear Designer for Givenchy, and Grace Wales Bonner took the menswear award. Dilara Fındıkoğlu won the Vanguard Award and Anok Yai was named Model of the Year.

Chanel received a Special Recognition Award for a century in Britain, marked by a new staging of Le Train Bleu from English National Ballet. Raye and Tems performed.

It was the first ceremony under Laura Weir, who succeeded Caroline Rush as the Council’s chief executive in April.
