Parra for Cuva, the Berlin producer whose 2013 single “Wicked Games” reached number six in Britain, headlines the Roundhouse in Chalk Farm on Saturday 17 October 2026.

Parra for Cuva is Nicolas Demuth, born in 1991 and raised in a small town near Göttingen in Lower Saxony. He learned the piano at 11, fell for Debussy and then jazz improvisation, and moved to Berlin to study audio design. The stage name came from words he found in Spanish and Portuguese dictionaries.

His break was a cover of Chris Isaak’s “Wicked Game” sung by Anna Naklab, his childhood neighbour. Five albums have followed, from Majouré in 2015 to Mimose in 2024.

Kalimba, steel drums, carillon, guitar and accordion sit inside the house rhythms, and he names Ludovico Einaudi and Bonobo as influences. Juno, recorded in 2021 with more than 15 musicians, includes Bongeziwe Mabandla and Aukai.

Mimose, drawn from journeys that included a trip to Corsica, is the latest record behind the London date. It closes on “Stellar”, lifted by a choir, and the Main Space gives this melodic music the scale of a full concert room.
