Martin Garrix played Gunnersbury Park on Saturday 16 August 2025, his largest UK headline show and his first in London for seven years, before about 25,000 people.

Martijn Garritsen was born in Amstelveen in 1996 and decided to become a DJ after watching Tiësto at the 2004 Olympic opening ceremony in Athens. He downloaded FL Studio and taught himself to produce. Animals, released in June 2013, made him the youngest person to reach number one on Beatport, and in 2014 he became the youngest headliner of Ultra Music Festival, at seventeen.

The annual Top 100 DJs poll ranked him first in the world in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022 and 2024. He founded the Stmpd Rcrds label in 2016 after leaving Spinnin’ Records. His singles include In the Name of Love and Scared to Be Lonely, with Dua Lipa, and he has played Coachella, Tomorrowland and Creamfields. He held residencies at Ushuaïa Ibiza and Hï Ibiza.

The night closed the park’s 2025 summer concert series, promoted by Festival Republic. Steve Angello, joined by Sebastian Ingrosso, opened with a 75-minute set. Garrix followed, walking on to the orchestral opening of Gravity and playing four tracks by the British duo Third Party in his first seven selections. Guests included Arcando and Libby Whitehouse, who sang Sleepless Nights live, and ended on Inside Our Hearts, his new collaboration with Alesso.
