The Munich-born, Berlin-based DJ, trained on classical piano and known for hard techno that runs into breakbeat and jungle, headlines the ALIVE night at E1 in Wapping.
Clara Cuvé, the Munich-born hard techno DJ whose bookings include Awakenings and EDC Las Vegas, headlines ALIVE at E1 in Wapping on Friday 16 October 2026. Doruksen joins her in support.
Born and raised in Munich, Cuvé began classical piano at four and bought her first synthesiser at 15. She started DJing at around 19 with the Munich label Stock5 and its monthly series at Rote Sonne, then moved to Berlin as a resident of Mess at OHM.
In 2020 her debut track, “Control”, appeared on Sektion 1, the first compilation from Kobosil’s R-Label Group. Her sets run from fast, groove-led techno into breakbeat, jungle and hardcore, often past 140 BPM.
She has worked with the Berghain doorman and artist Sven Marquardt, and is building Sesh, a club format that pairs 1990s nostalgia with futurist design.
E1 opened on Pennington Street in 2017, an independently owned club that holds 1,600 under a Funktion-One system. ALIVE is its hard techno night. Cuvé returns to the room where she first played, at the club’s We Are Not Alone night alongside Ellen Allien, DJ Bone, Surgeon and Anetha.
